We have all heard that a low dose aspirin a day is beneficial for helping to prevent blood clots which could cause a heart attack or stroke. But new studies suggest that there may even be more beneficial effects from low dose aspirin therapy. Recent studies suggest that most people over 40 could benefit from it. Aspirin is anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is the cause of most disease including cancer, heart disease, alzheimer’s, diabetes, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and much more. The latest findings show to have a possible decrease in chances of colon cancer specifically. But it’s important to speak with your health care provider about your unique body to make sure that it’s the right choice for you.
