A simple and natural way to wash produce is to mix 2 cups of water and 1 cup of white vinegar in a large bowl and submerge leafy greens, herbs, or other fragile produce into the mixture and gently toss to loosen germs and allow to soak for up to 20 minutes then rinse with cold water. You can also mix 2 parts water to 1 part white vinegar in a spray bottle and keep this at the kitchen sink to spray onto sturdier produce that you can then scrub and rinse thoroughly.
