This is a very versatile and nutritious sauce. Soak about 2 cups of raw cashews in 2 cups of water in a covered container overnight. Put cashews and soaking water in a blender with 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast and seasonings of your choice. For example if you want to use the sauce on pasta or Italian food you can add Italian seasonings, garlic powder, and onion powder. If you want to use the sauce on Mexican food you can add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder. Get creative and experiment with different seasoning blends. Blend in the blender while slowly adding about 1/4 cup olive oil or oil of your choice until desired consistency. It’s ready to enjoy! Some ways you can use this sauce would be to make mac and “cheese”, alfredo, queso, enchiladas, on burgers, and much more!
